University of Edinburgh Law School Music Society

Are you a law student with musical interests? Do you play an instrument or enjoy singing in a choir? Perfect, come along to the Law School Music Society!

Created in 2009, the society offers law students the chance to pursue their music interests in a relaxed and fun environment. Weekly rehearsals and socials provide great opportunities to meet other law students, staff and alumni who all share a love for music and performing.  Within the society are:

  • choir

  • a cappella

  • strings

We perform two law school concerts every year, the first at Christmas, featuring renditions of all those songs you know so well, and another around Easter-time. Both always prove to be popular and high-spirited events.

Whether it's to showcase your musical talents or simply to make more friendships, the Law School Music Society has much to offer!

We welcome everyone with a connection to the law school. Society membership costs £5 for students and £10 for non-students. Either bring this to the first meeting of the year, or sign up through the EUSA website.
